| Details: | After much careful thought, deliberations and prayers, the Supreme Council of the Polish National Catholic Church voted in a special April 2009 session that the PNCC would purchase the Polish National Union portion of the PNU building at 1006 Pittston Avenue in Scranton, PA. The Supreme Council also authorized the financing of this project with a loan and the establishment of a $2.3 million fund-raising campaign to raise the necessary monies for paying off the loan. The PNCC has truly been blessed by the fact that Spojnia, District #6, has pledged $1 million (approximately one half of the proceeds from the proposed sale of property owned in McHenry, Illinois) and that the Western Diocese has made a pledge of $100,000.00 toward this effort. We need to raise an additional $1.2 million in order to purchase the remaining portion of our building. Therefore, beginning on May 1, 2009 we kicked off a fund-raising campaign so that the Polish National Catholic Church may own the entire Polish National Union building. We call upon you to contribute what you can to this fund-raising campaign. Whatever your gift, be it large or small, will help us to attain our goal. Please give of your time, talent and treasure so that TOGETHER WE CAN REACH THIS GOAL for our beloved Polish National Catholic Church. Let’s keep our National Church Center! Can we do this?
